About us - Our design philosophy

Clean, elegant and intuitive navigation that leads to an ultimate result, whether that be a guestbook entry, an e-mail, a form, a purchase or even a phone call.

Like getting lost in a good book picked up at the bookstore. That means high-quality, fast-loading graphics, a subtle hand with the finer touches available through scripting, and a site that degrades nicely with older browser versions.

About us - Who we are

Tigote Design is Melissa Mears (neé Oringer). The "we" are the various web designers and/or programmers who collaborate on an as needed basis. Melissa began web designing personally in 1996 and professionally in 1997 when she began work with Wind River Systems. For Wind River, Melissa was the Webmaster for the Marketing Intranet. She has also been a Web Producer at McAfee.com. Presently, she is a Web Site Lead at Harding Marketing Communications, Inc.
